The main weapon of the bioinsecticide "Nemabakt" is a predatory nematode - a microscopic roundworm, as well as a bacterium infested into it, with which they form a definite symbiosis.
The nematode penetrates into the insect larva, where the bacterium eats it for several days and, in turn, provides the nematode with a source of food; the worm actively breeds inside the larva, and then leaves the empty shell to find another insect. 
Nematodes multiply very quickly and begin to look for new sources of food, that is, insect larvae. Nematodes settled on a plot of land continue to clean it for two to three years; at the end of autumn, they hibernate, and in the spring they are activated again.
