Ukrainian poultry house produces quail meat on the principle of self-sufficiency

The closed cycle of quail meat production was managed by a novice farmer from Ukraine.

Nikolai Kuzmenko managed not only to grow the field of organic millet for feed to birds, but also developed a unique biogas equipment that allows him to produce organic fertilizer.

For four years, an enterprising agrarian provides its land with nutrients and biogas.

Keeping quails in an odorless apartment "I started breeding quails twenty years ago," Nikolai says. "I started as an experiment right away, and then I realized how profitable it was. All the more. My birds' meat was in great demand. And we should not forget that quail meat is very useful and easily absorbed by the human body! "

Today Nikolay has a lot of colleagues in Ukraine. More than half a thousand enterprises specialize in growing and slaughtering quails. They provide the country with 150 thousand carcasses per year and more than 600 million eggs.

“But not every compatriot-farmer can boast with such production as my own — on full self-sufficiency”, Kuzmenko says with a smile.
