Malaysian producers from Stixfresh have found a solution to the problem of perishable fruits. This solution has become special stickers that prevent the occurrence of mold on the fetus, and also slow down the release of ethylene during the ripening process. 
The sticker contains sodium chloride and beeswax. The freshness of the fruit such a sticker can be maintained for 14 days. Stickers made from organic materials are suitable for different fruits - apples, pears, avocados, pitaya, kiwi, mango, citrus. To create a wonderful sticker, the research took about 3 years, and the first "test drives" were carried out on mango fruits. Later, co-founders learned that stickers could be used for other fruits.
The director and creator of this sticker is Jafri Zaynudin. The main goal for creating a sticky "panacea", according to the inventor, was to reduce the level of food shortages in the country by reducing the susceptibility of fruits to diseases and pests. At the moment, Stixfresh have the status of one of the most successful fruit-producing companies. According to statistics, by 2017, they sold about 1.3 million stickers.
